My Simple Evening Cleaning Routine For Busy working Mom
Each evening I start my Evening cleaning routine right after the kids are at home after school. I do not do it all at once.
I break it up into pieces depending on what is going on that evening. Here is a quick list of all of the tasks that I do.
- wipe down all table tops: Use a counter spray and a microfiber cloth to clean up any spills and crumbs. You don’t have to move things
- Wash remaining dishes for the next morning: Whether you wash by hand or use the machine, get the dishes clean to avoid attracting bugs.
- Clean the sink: Scrub it with soap and water.
- Tidy up/declutter kitchen counter
- Pick up toys and kid’s bedroom (if they missed doing that)
- Tidy up/declutter living room
- Fold and put away laundry (try to do any one task)
The time you invest doing this simple evening cleaning routine will pay off big as you notice your home becoming cleaner and more organized and your mornings becoming less chaotic.
