Sometimes, late mornings feel like there are so many things that need to get done
Come home to a clean house every day without feeling like you’re spending all your free time cleaning
Ask yourself what are the things that, if done daily, would help you to feel more at peace in your home.
A quick and easy morning cleaning routine is just what you need to get you started on the right track to a tidy and organized home every day.
How to create a quick and simple morning cleaning routine
Write down each chore you want to get done each morning. Write all of those chores down on each day of the week, for the next two weeks.
To make a cleaning routine, it needs to become a habit.
You need to walk around each morning and do these chores without even thinking about it, so choose the tasks that work for you and start doing them each morning.
Honestly, you can’t do every chore in the morning, so plan according to your day.
1. Start the night before
You can’t have a morning routine without a night cleaning routine! So follow these few steps to enjoy a quick morning cleaning routine.
Go to bed with a clean kitchen – There isn’t a better feeling than going to bed with a clean kitchen. Something about it washes peace all through the home and allows for much better rest.
Ready with dirty laundry
starting a load of laundry in the morning automatically. The less you have to put effort and thought into your morning cleaning routine, the better!
2. Make the bed
Making the bed probably may be your first and the most important task you may be doing. Not yet started having a routine of bed making?
Don’t worry! Start today itself.
I know some people think that making the bed is a waste of time, but it makes a big difference in how tidy the room looks and only takes a couple of minutes.
Your bed looks great, and now you want to keep the rest of your home looking good, too.
Take two minutes every morning and get in the habit of making your bed (or have your partner do it if they’re the last one out!)
3. Wipe countertops as you go
I usually start wiping down my kitchen countertop, and when the kitchen job is done it seems like half of the house is clean and tidy. Just spray some all-purpose cleaner on the counters and then wipe it up.
After wiping down all kitchen surfaces, I make my way into the bathroom and spray all the counters in there.
4. A quick home tidy up
Do a quick tidy of your home before you go to bed and there won’t be much left to do in the morning.
Taking five to thirty minutes to tidy your home can make a massive difference in how your day goes, so finish off your quick morning cleaning routine by getting everything put back in its home.
If your home is cluttered, it is nearly impossible to have a quick or easy cleaning routine.
5. Start one load of laundry
Again the night before preparing dirty laundry for the morning – Not only keeps smelly towels from stinking up the bathroom, but it makes starting a load of laundry in the morning automatic.
I usually put all my dirty laundry in the washing machine tub after my evening shower, That is the point I gather all the dirty laundry into one place.
the goal is always to get this load to the point of being put away.
If I do more, awesome, if not, at least I’ve done one all the way through.
Final Thoughts
Mornings are the most productive time for me and I get things done more efficiently in the morning. And If my cleaning routine is done, it seems like much more relaxed and stress-free to welcome the day ahead.
Whenever get to complete my quick morning cleaning routine, it makes them even better!
Hope this will be useful to create your quick morning cleaning routine.
Highly recommend that you give your cleaning routine a jump start by decluttering your house. Because If your house is cluttered, a cleaning routine is going to be hard, really hard!
