How To Make An Easy Laundry Routine?
The one major alteration that needed to be made was laundry day had to stop being one specific day.
Like doing the dishes and making the bed, laundry needs to be a daily chore.
Let’s see what changes you can do every day to maximize your laundry routine and save you tons of time.
Divide Parts Of The Laundry Cycle
The entire laundry cycle consists of the following tasks: –
- Sort
- Wash
- Dry
- Fold
- Put Away
Decide which part of your laundry is done by your family members. I don’t like folding, so we divide the parts according to your likes and dislikes.
But every family has its idea of what is necessary within that cycle.
Although laundry is a time-consuming job for the clothes themselves, it doesn’t have to be time-consuming for you!
This time saving laundry hacks saves my life.
Of course, everyone has different homes, different sizes of families, and different needs with regards to their laundry routine.
You may find that if you have a very large family, you need to do more than one load a day.

1. Washing night

Routines are so amazing when you start doing them and you’re consistent.
One way you can boost your laundry routine is by taking the dirty laundry from every room in the house, to the laundry room, EVERY night before bed.
I love to do this before bed to make my day stress-free. when I’m doing a quick night house cleaning, I always make sure about the laundry.
Don’t let piles of dirty laundry hang out in every room. Every night put a load of laundry in the washing machine.
2. Drying in the morning
Now, our washing is done!
And this is the first thing I always include to do in my morning cleaning routine.
Usually by the time we’re finished getting ready for the day, I will take out the laundry for dry, It just takes 10 mins and the morning light sunshine is nicer than the hot harsh afternoon ray.
3. Folding in the evening
Folding is my worst part. I hate folding!
And honestly, I’m not very good at folding. What about you?
But I fold that load of laundry that same day!
It seriously takes only a few minutes when you’re only folding ONE load of laundry.
And it’s so much easier than letting it pile up and then having to deal with a mountain of clothes.
If folding your laundry gets you hung up like me every time you think about it, then start to associate folding with something you enjoy!
Decide on something that you LOVE and enjoy it while you fold.
Trust me, you’ll be so much more excited to fold laundry and you won’t miss a day!
4. Putting away laundry into closets
Now washing, drying, and folding are done. So it’s time to put them back to their actual places.
Fold and put away the laundry before you go to bed. Don’t forget to enlist help from family members–it’s their laundry too!
Before you start your new laundry routine, make sure all of the areas where the clean laundry goes are organized and ready.
Go around to each of the closets and dressers in your home, do a little sorting, and have a plan for where you want things to go.
You want to have a spot for everything and to know exactly where all of your clean laundries goes.
That way when it comes time to put away your clean, folded clothes, it will be quick and easy for you.
Some Quick Laundry Routine Tips
- Do some laundry every day.
- Simplify your sorting.
- Sort by texture, not by color ( Wash one type of laundry every day)
